Where have goods been created up until now for Kelly Moore Bag? 
For the last ten years, we have been working with a few companies located in China. These companies have provided good working conditions and fair wages to their employees, along with quality products throughout our time with them. We recognize that due to distance and governmental structure, we aren’t able to be as connected to the people who personally create our products as we want to be, and because of this, we want to support a company a bit closer to home who shares our values, creating more personal connection to our product and those creating it. We have been producing items in Mexico since 2017, and this shift will allow us to fully move production to this area.

What will this shift towards People Over Profit look like? 
Over the next few years, we will be transitioning all leather good products to a smaller company that we are personally building a relationship with in Leon, Mexico. As we continue to grow in connection to them, we see a company working to ensure the highest possible standards for the quality of life for their team beyond what’s required by law and the heritage of their generations to come, as well as the continued excellence of their materials. 

When will things start to change?
Starting as early as September 21, 2020, some of our product prices will increase.

How much will the cost of products increase & why?
Most product prices will go up by approximately $20 per item, which will cover the increasing cost of quality leather goods. We use the highest quality of thick leather material available in the market. The ongoing cost of goods continues to increase, and although over the last two years we've covered the margin, we find ourselves needing to cover this cost more fully.

We want everyone involved in the creation and use of our bags to take pride in and enjoy what they are creating, and to be valued to the highest extent; from the first stitch of an item to its arrival at your door.
