Happy Valentines Day!!
When you have kids, most holidays seem more special.  I’ve never been one to make too big of a deal out of holidays, especially one like Valentines Day, but this year, I decided I’d actually get into the “holiday spirit”.

You may know my good friend Davina Fear, she’s a fabulous photographer, and we teach our Love Affair Workshops together.  Since I’ve known her, she’s constantly impressed me with her mad mothering skillz!  One thing she does with her kids is that she makes a HUGE deal out of Valentines Day.  In fact, I think she mentioned that V-Day was her kids favorite holiday.  She decorates the kitchen, and serves a buffet of candy that would shock even Willy Wonka.  I’m pretty sure that would have been my favorite holiday as a kid too!!

Anyway, all that to say, I’ve decided to borrow this tradition around our house.  Posey is only 3, so I started small, but she was really excited about her new tiara, Tinkerbell stickers, lip gloss & Jelly Belly’s & cinnamon toast for breakfast.
